Sanju 8th Day Collection, Ranbir Kapoor starrer becomes 12th Highest Grosser of all time

After completing the opening week on an exceptional note, the biopic of Sanjay Dutt titled Sanju has entered in the second week with a steady pace. From the very first day of release, the movie is setting new records at the box office and now has become the 12th highest grosser of all time in Hindi cinema within 8 days of release.

Directed by the ace filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani, this biographical drama has made a solid impact on viewers and received very positive reactions in return. From the critics as well, it has got quite favorable reviews and gained a strong word of mouth. As a result, it remained superb throughout the first week.

Ranbir Kapoor starrer Sanju was released amid the huge excitement of fans and as expected took a record opening of 34.75 crores on Friday. By remaining super-strong over Saturday and Sunday, it raked the business of 38.60 crores and 46.71 crores respectively.

Then on weekdays as well, Fox Star Studios’ presentation managed to stay steady and minted the amount of 25.35 crores on Monday, 22.10 crores on Tuesday, 18.90 crores on Wednesday, and 16.10 crores on Thursday. After a week, the total collection of Sanju was recorded at 202.51 crores from 4000 screens across India.

Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s production is now in the second weekend and successfully managed to retain a high number of screens. On 2nd Friday, Sanju witnessed a normal drop and garnered the business of 12.90 crores. With this, its total collection has become 215.41 crores at the domestic box office.
