Sarbjit 9th Day Collection – Aiming Towards 25 Cr as Domestic Total

Aishwarya Rai’s Sarbjit Crosses 24 Cr in 9 Days of Release

After a decent opening week, Omung Kumar’s directorial biopic ‘Sarbjit’ is heading decently in its second week too. The movie has been released with good buzz and expectations worldwide, also it has received very positive reviews from critics. But still, it has not received much well in return at box office.

Everyone found Sarbjit very intense and loved the performances of lead stars Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Randeep Hooda and Richa Chadha. They all have acted brilliantly well in their roles and are being praised by audience for this. Despite steller performances, the movie has only minted a decent business total so far.

In the first week, it had reported not very well and raked the business of total 22.09 crores including 13.96 crores of weekend and 8.13 crores of weekdays on domestic box office. With continuous growth, it has collected 3.69 crores on Friday, 4.56 crores on Saturday and 5.71 crores on Sunday.

In weekdays, it managed to hold steady pace and did the business of 2.37 crores on Monday, 2.10 crores on Tuesday, 1.91 crore on Wednesday and 1.75 crore on Thursday. Now this one has entered in its second weekend and getting decent response despite new release.

On its 2nd Friday, Sarbjit had faced considerable drop than its previous day and minted the amount of 1.10 crore as its 8th day collection. Then on the next day i.e. its 2nd Saturday, being weekend the movie witnessed slight rise in its business graph and added the amount of 1.45 crore to its account.

After 9 days of release, Sarbjit total collection at domestic box office is recorded as 24.64 crores. The movie has already recovered its budget of 23 crores in last 8 days. It can rake more than 26 crores till this weekend.
