Pawan Kalyan’s SGS heading towards 50 Cr in AP/Telangana
After an amazing start, Eros International’s latest Telugu offering ‘Sardaar Gabbar Singh’ is now running decently on box office. As per the earlier expectations, superstar Pawan Kalyan starrer this action movie has opened up on a great note and dominated the opening record of Mahesh Babu’s Srimanthudu. But got failed to maintain the pace and faced a big dip in its business from the second day. That is the reason it has not crossed the mark of 50 cr till yet from Andhra Pradesh & Telangana.
In its opening weekend, Sardaar Gabbar Singh witnessed overall good response and minted the amount of around 32 cr on 1000 screens (approx.) across Telugu states. The weekend total includes 20.50 cr of Friday, 5.50 cr of Saturday and 6 cr of Sunday. The abrupt fall in business from the second day, is very disappointing for fans but the favorable thing is, now it is heading with almost steady performance.
In weekdays, KS Ravindra aka Bobby’s directorial is witnessing decent footfall in theaters. On Monday it faced 20% of drop than Sunday and minted the amount of 4.90 cr. Then on the next day with slight more drop, it raked the business of 4 cr as its fifth day collection. On Wednesday it reported little higher drop and added 2.80 cr* to its account and made its 6 days total as 43.70 cr* on AP/T box office.
