Last week released sequel of the 2015’s Punjabi blockbuster Sardaar Ji, has completed its one week journey at box office on an excellent note. Being year’s much awaited Punjabi movies, Sardaar Ji 2 witnessed overwhelmed response of audience across the globe. It has positive reviews from critics as well as moviegoers, which generated good word of mouth about it among rest audience.

Everyone liked the movie and found its worth watch family entertainer. The lead star Diljit Dosanjh has once again showed his wonderful acting skills and is being praised by all for this. His fans are showing immense craze towards Sardaar Ji 2 and creating huge buzz about it on social media. That is why it is running so smoothly on box office has registered many records so far.

Sardaar Ji 2 opened up with the highest ever opening amount of Punjabi cinema. Also it has registered the record of highest opening weekend collection of all time with 9.10 crores total, that includes 2.75 crores of Friday, 3 crores of Saturday and 3.35 crores of Sunday. Its third day collection was the highest ever single day collection of the industry.

In weekdays, asusual the movie recorded lesser response than weekend. But still it kept good hold over audience and registered another record of highest ever opening week collection. With almost 35% of drop in its business graph, the movie did the business of 1.75 crore on Monday, 1.25 crore on Tuesday and 1 crore on Wednesday.

On the last day of week i.e. Thursday, it faced slight more drop in its occupancy and added the amount of 0.90 crore to its account. After a week, total collection of Sardaar Ji 2 has become 14 crores on domestic box office. It is positively expected to do well in its second week too.
