Sarrainodu 2nd Day Collection: Become Allu Arjun’s Highest Opener in AP/Telangana

Sarrainodu Emerged as 3rd Biggest Telugu Opener of 2016 so far!

Superstar Allu Arjun’s latest offering, the Telugu action movie ‘Sarrainodu’ has taken an excellent start at box office across Andhra Pradesh & Telangana. It had good pre-release hype among audience and has received mixed reviews from critics. Fans of Arjun are showing immense craze towards the movie and with their support it has emerged as third highest biggest opener of 2016 so far in Telugu cinema after Pawan Kalyan’s Sardaar Gabbar Singh (20.50 cr) and Jr. NTR’s Nannaku Prematho (13.46 cr). It has also break the opening record of Arjun’s previous movies S/o Satyamuthy (9.25 cr) and Race Gurram (6.90 cr); now become biggest opener of his career so far on AP/T box office.

Sarrainodu has released on 950 screens across Telugu states, that includes 500 screens of Andhra Pradesh and 450 screens of Telangana. On its very first day, it reported overall good performance and minted the amount of 11 cr across the states with 80% of occupancy. Not only in India but in overseas too, it has witnessed very well on first day and heading smoothly there.

On the next day i.e. Saturday, despite weekend it has not showed any growth in its business and minted the amount of 5.30 cr. As opening day, major contribution in the collection is made by Nizam and Ceded. Audience found the movie entertaining and power packed, so Sunday is expected to get little higher than Saturday.
