Secret Superstar 14th Day Collection, Zaira Wasim Starrer Grosses 100 Crore Worldwide

The very talented Zaira Wasim who showed brilliant performance in Dangal as younger Geeta Phogat, has once again proved her excellence in her recent offering Secret Superstar. Unfortunately the movie got failed to witnessed desired response at box office but she received huge appreciation from everyone.

Directed by Advait Chandan, Secret Superstar impressed all the viewers as well as critics with it’s solid content but due to having highly buzzed biggie Golmaal Again in opposite, it became the second choice of audience. Despite strong word of mouth, this musical drama showed overall decent performance so far.

After starting the journey on a lower note than expected, Secret Superstar picked up very well over the weekend but got failed to carry that pace further. In the first week, it registered the business of 41.59 crores, that included 31.10 crores of weekend and 10.49 crores of weekdays from 1750 screens nationwide.

In the second weekend, superstar Aamir Khan’s production showed some growth but still remained decent and did the business of 9.60 crores, with 2.10 crores on 2nd Friday, 3.50 crores on 2nd Saturday and 4 crores on 2nd Sunday. After that total collection of the movie was recorded as 51.19 crores.

Now Secret Superstar is once again running in weekdays and asusual facing drops in footfalls. On 2nd Monday, it minted the amount of 1.25 crore while 1.25 crore on 2nd Tuesday. On the next day i.e. 2nd Wednesday too, Zee Studios’ presentation witnessed similar response and garnered the business of 1.25 crore and raised it’s 14 days total to 54.94 crores domestically.

From overseas market, Secret Superstar has grossed approx. 32 crores and with this, it’s worldwide total has become 102.43 crores including 70.43 crores gross collection from Indian screens.
