Secret Superstar 18th Day Collection, Goes Past 59 Crores Total by 3rd Weekend across India

Couple of weeks back released musical drama Secret Superstar has impressed everyone with it’s solid content and brilliant performances given by all the actors, but still it hasn’t got any enthusiastic response at box office. Despite strong word of mouth, it remained far behind the biggie action comedy Golmaal Again.

Directed by Advait Chandan, Secret Superstar was released on the day of Diwali, because of which it got lower opening than expected. From the next day it picked up very well and registered overall good weekend but got failed to carry that pace further and ended the week on a decent note.

In the first week, Zaira Wasim, Aamir Khan & Meher Vij starrer did the business of 41.59 crores that included 31.10 crores of 4-days extended weekend and 10.49 crores of weekdays. In the second week as well, it remained decent and minted 14.25 crores with 9.60 crores of weekend and 4.65 crores of weekdays.

After 2 weeks, total collection of Secret Superstar was recorded as 55.84 crores. Now once again it is running in weekend and has several new offerings plus Golmaal Again in opposite. On 3rd Friday, it faced around 22.2% of drop than previous day and minted the amount of 0.70 crore.

On the next day i.e. 3rd Saturday, Aamir Khan’s production took fair growth and bagged the collection of 1.30 crore. Then on 3rd Sunday, it showed little more growth in footfalls and collected the amount of 1.50 crore. With this, it’s 18 days total collection has become 59.34 crores at domestic box office.
