Secret Superstar 3rd Day Collection at China Box Office, Grosses 173.50 Crore Total in 3 Days

Last year released, Dangal girl Zaira Wasim and superstar Aamir Khan starrer musical drama Secret Superstar has now hit screens in China this weekend and getting beyond-expected response from audience there. Surprisingly, it has taken better start than Dangal and grossed over 100 crores in just 2 days.

Directed by Advait Chandan, Secret Superstar is an inspirational musical drama which was released on 19 October 2017 in India. It’s a story of 14-year-old Muslim girl, who loves music and wants to become world famous singer. But her father with conservative mindset, is against her dream.

The movie touched many hearts worldwide including Taiwan and now it is doing the same in China as well. Also because of the huge success of Dangal, Aamir Khan & Zaira Wasim gained solid fan following there, which is now resulting in favor of Secret Superstar.

Secret Superstar got released on 19 January 2018 in China under the banners- Aamir Khan Productions, China Film Group Corporation and Huaxia Film Distribution Co.,Ltd. On the opening day, it started the journey on a terrific note and registered the business of $6.88mn / ₹43.86 crores on Friday.

On Saturday, it took superb growth and raked the business of $10.50mn / 66.96 crores. On the next day i.e. Sunday, Secret Superstar remained strong and bagged the business of $9.84 crores / 62.73 crores. With this, 3 days total collection of the movie has become $27.22mn / 173.55 crores.
