Secret Superstar 7th Day Collection, Zaira Wasim’s Musical Drama Earns 39.30 Crore in 7 Days

The very talented actress Zaira Wasim’s recent offering Secret Superstar has received very positive reviews from everyone as expected but unfortunately not getting desired response at box office. Although it reported good performance over the weekend, but weekdays are not resulting in it’s favor as the biggie Golmaal Again has diverted most of the audience toward itself.

Directed by Advait Chandan, it’s a musical drama and stars superstar Aamir Khan and Meher Vij in lead roles alongside Zaira. Undoubtedly all the actors have given brilliant performances, especially the Dangal girl who has proved her excellence once again.

Secret Superstar was released on last Thursday with sky high expectations but due to Diwali puja it got decent response and did the business of 4.80 crores. Due to strong word of mouth, the movie picked up well and raked the business of 9.25 crores on Friday, 8.55 crores on Saturday and 8.50 crores on Sunday.

After the opening weekend, total collection of Aamir Khan’s production was recorded as 31.10 crores from around 1750 screens across the country. Now it is running in weekdays and asusual getting lower footfalls in theaters than before due to normal working days.

On Monday, Zaira Wasim starrer faced 36.50% of drop than the opening day and bagged the amount of 3.05 crores. Then with further drop, it minted the amount of 2.75 crores on Tuesday. On the next day i.e. Wednesday, Secret Superstar garnered the business of 2.40 crores and raised it’s 7 days total collection to 39.30 crores at domestic box office.
