Madhur Bhandarkar’s Indu Sarkar Trailer is Out Now!

Since the time when it was announced, filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar’s upcoming historical drama Indu Sarkar is strongly buzzing among fans. Everyone was curious to know, what kind of story he has this time. On 16th of June, as per schedule makers unveiled the official trailer of the film, which promises a strong and hard-hitting story.

Set in the Emergency period of India during 1975 to 1977, Indu Sarkar has the promising ensemble cast that includes Kirti Kulhari, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Anupam Kher, Tota Roy Chowdhury, Parvin Dabas, Zakir Khan, Sheeba Chaddha and Supriya Vinod.

On June 16, Madhur Bhandarkar took to twitter to share the trailer. He wrote, “Time to unveil the story of a woman who stands against the system for justice, here is #InduSarkarTrailer”. The trailer shows the darker side of the government ruling in India at that time.

During the time of emergency in India, lot of lives were impacted and many fought against the government. But with time, all tales have been lost in the history. Indu Sarkar tells one of them, it’s a story of a woman who stands against the system for the nation. We hope, CBFC will not do injustice with the film.

The trailer is being liked by everyone and now all are looking forward to it’s music, which is scored by Anu Malik. Bollywood celebs have also appreciated the team, for such daring take on Emergency situation.

Produced by Bharat Shah and Madhur Bhandarkar himself under the banners Mega Bollywood Pvt. Ltd. and Bhandarkar Entertainment, Indu Sarkar is all set to be released on 28th July 2017. Anees Bazmee’s Mubarakan and Tigmanshu Dhulia’s Raag Desh are also scheduled for the same.
