The Shehenshah of Bollywood film industry Amitabh Bachchan has once again put the audience in enjoyment from his latest released film Shamitabh. It is a drama genre starring Dhanush & Akshara Haasan along as leads. Running at box office with their forte genre, both male leads have entertained audience one more time with natural acting and of course interesting storyline. The film released last week & has done with its first week today on big screen.

Within 1 full week, it has seen both types of response from the audience. In the starting weekend audience seemed quite crazy for the flick as all of Amitabh Bachchan fans were very excited for the film. While the later weekdays proved bit of suffering for the film as its income as well as total occupancy fell down by each consecutive weekday till now. But overall the report is too satisfactory.

This one week has been overall good for Shamitabh bringing it decent income and reviews from the viewers. Overall first week went pretty well and the total 1 week business figures stands at 19.23 crores* with today’s i.e. 7th day income of 1.25 crores*.

One main drawback for senior actor films not getting huge audience is that its viewers list comprises only the old or mature generations whereas youth seems drifted towards masala flicks. But we all know that Amitabh Bachchan films are keenly awaited by the family audience, kids or mature ones. But to contradict, Amitabh has done a different stylish character in this film making even youth audience focus at his acting first and then on the story.
