After a couple of blockbuster weeks, the young superstar Ranveer Singh & director Rohit Shetty’s first film together, Simmba has passed its third week as well on an incredible note despite having new anticipated Hindi offerings- Uri The Surgical Strike & The Accidental Prime Minister in the opposite.
Co-starring the sensational Sara Ali Khan & Sonu Sood in lead roles, Simmba has got succeed to entertain many in theatres and gather a solid word of mouth. As a result, it did the massive business of 150.81 crores in the opening week which included 75.11 crores in the weekend and 75.70 crores on weekdays.
In the second week as well, Reliance Entertainment’s presentation remained super-strong and registered the business of 61.62 crores with 39.83 crores in the weekend and 21.79 crores on weekdays. Then in the third weekend, it got affected by the new arrivals but still showed a healthy jump in the business graph.
At a strong note, Simmba collected the business of 12.41 crores in its third weekend which included 2.60 crores on Friday, 4.51 crores on Saturday & 5.30 crores on Sunday. On weekdays also, the film managed to remain steady and minted 2.87 crores on 3rd Monday & 2.29 crores on 3rd Tuesday due to partial holidays.
On 3rd Wednesday, Reliance Entertainment, Rohit Shetty & Karan Johar’s production witnessed a significant drop in footfalls and raked 1.31 crore. With a further decline on 3rd Thursday, it bagged 1.18 crore and raised 3 weeks total collection to 232.49 crores nett at the domestic box office.
