Superstar Akshay Kumar’s latest collaboration with director Prabhu Deva, Singh Is Bliing has completed its 14 days journey at box office. The movie was released on 2nd of October worldwide with a screen count of 3200. In the first week, it showed commendable performance but in the second week, it witnessed heavy drop in the occupancy as well as business. This is the fourth movie of Akshay this year after Baby, Gabbar Is Back & Brothers. All his four movies have added in the year’s top 10 grosser list but still no one has entered in 100 crore club at domestic box office.

The craze of fans & audience for Singh Is Bliing was higher than his previous movies. So it was expected to accomplish the 100 crore target within 2 weeks. Also its started very well at box office & registered year’s second higher opening, opening weekend & opening week collection so far after Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan. But has not received much response in second week, that is the reason it recorded more than 80% of drop than its last week.

In the first week, Singh Is Bliing was minted the total amount of 77.60 crores that includes 54.44 crores of weekend & 23.16 crores of weekdays. In the second weekend, it grossed 7.10 crores that includes 1.50 crores of Friday, 2.60 crores of Saturday & 3 crores of Sunday. In last four weekdays it recorded the business of 3.76 crores that includes 1.10 crore of Monday, 1.02 crore of Tuesday, 0.85 crore of Wednesday & 0.70 crore of Thursday. Till the end of its second week, total collection of Singh Is Bliing is calculated as 88.37 crores on Indian screens.
