‘Singh Is Bliing’ is the 2nd Highest Grosser of Akshay Kumar this Year
In year 2012, first time the superstar Akshay Kumar & director Prabhu Deva was came together with an action film Rowdy Rathore. That film was a commercial hit at box office & also one of the best performers of Akshay’s career. Once again they both joined hands & came back with a month ago released action comedy Singh Is Bliing. As their previous collaboration, this film has also tasted the flavor of success. Most of the critics have reviewed it with positive comments & appreciated the performance of lead stars. Some critics said, Singh Is Bliing has no effective script but still audience find it entertaining & as a result, it has managed to gross excellent business total in its lifetime.
This is the fourth film of Akshay this year & same as its last three films, the latest one is also not entered in 100 crore club at domestic box office. Among all four, Singh Is Bliing is at the second position after Baby with the total collection of approx. 92 crores. Now it is witnessing very less occupancy in theaters, so there is no chance for it to show more increment in its business. Now fans are waiting for his upcoming films- Airlift, HouseFull 3, Namastey England & Rustom which are scheduled to be released next year.
In one month, Singh Is Bliing has grossed the total amount of 92.70 crores* on Indian screens, that comprises 77.60 crores of first week, 10.77 crores of second week, 3.23 crores of third week, 0.97 crore of fourth week & approx. 0.13 crore* in last 2 days (29th & 30th). We can considered this total as its lifetime collection because now Singh Is Bliing has lost almost all its hold on screens.
