Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety 35th Day Collection, Luv Ranjan’s Film Rakes 106.75 Cr in 5 Weeks

The latest venture of Pyaar Ka Punchnama director Luv Ranjan, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety has passed its fifth week as well on a solid note. Despite being a small budget film with decent star power and tongue-twisting title, it has made everyone surprised by crossing the 100-crore mark at the domestic box office.

The huge success of Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety has proved that the audience decides the fate of any film. This bromantic comedy received almost mixed reviews from the critics but got succeed to entertain the audience, as a result, it gained strong word of mouth.

Starring Kartik Aaryan, Nushrat Bharucha, and Sunny Singh in lead, SKTKS took a solid start and registered the excellent business of total 45.94 crores in the opening week by remaining strong throughout. In the second, third and fourth week, it raked the business of 29.77 crores, 17.93 crores, and 8.88 crores respectively with a maintained momentum.

In its fifth weekend as well, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety showed good performance and did the business of 2.36 crores, that included 0.48 crore of 5th Friday, 0.83 crore of 5th Saturday and 1.05 crore of 5th Sunday despite having Raid and Hichki in its opposite.

Then on weekdays, Luv Films & T-Series Films’ joint production surprisingly remained almost similar to 5th Friday and minted the amount of 0.47 crore on 5th Monday, 0.42 crore on 5th Tuesday, 0.46 crore on 5th Wednesday and 0.54 crore on 5th Thursday.

With this, the total collection of Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety after 5 weeks, has become 106.77 crores. From the new week, it will have the much awaited Baaghi 2 also in the opposite, which could hamper its run at the box office.
