Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety 7th Day Collection, Luv Ranjan’s Film Registers Excellent Week 1

Last Friday released, Hindi comedy Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety has registered an excellent opening week at the box office. Due to positive word of mouth, the movie remained steady throughout and showed better performance than director Luv Ranjan’s previous hit Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2.

Starring Kartik Aaryan, Nushrat Bharucha, and Sunny Singh in lead roles, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety as expected got succeed to entertain the audience and received mostly positive reviews from the critics. As a result, it has become hit within a week of release.

Despite having already existing big releases Padmaavat and Padman in the opposite, SKTKS opened to a solid note and witnessed massive jump over the weekend. It did the business of total 26.57 crores in the first weekend, that included 6.42 crores of Friday, 9.34 crores of Saturday and 10.81 crores of Sunday.

Then on weekdays, the movie recorded some drop in footfalls but still maintained a good pace. Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety bagged the amount of 5.17 crores on Monday, 4.93 crores on Tuesday and 4.41 crores on Wednesday.

On the next day i.e. Thursday, due to a holiday of Holi the movie reported a jump and minted the amount of 4.86 crores. With this, its one week total collection has 45.94 crores at the domestic box office. In the next week too, SKTKS is positively expected to remain strong despite new ones Pari and Veerey Ki Wedding.
