‘Srimanthudu’ (Telugu) 2nd Day Collection: Minted ~13 Cr on Day 1 from AP & Telangana

Mahesh Babu & Shruti Haasan starrer latest Telugu movie Srimanthudu has opened up with excellent occupancy and collection on its opening day at box office. It has received super positive response and reviews from audience as well as from critics. Fans of Mahesh & Shruti are very much excited with such great start of the movie. All these positive waves has created a favorable environment for the movie, which encourages more audience to watch it.

Srimanthudu was released on around 2000 screens worldwide in Telugu, Tamil & English. On the first day, it has recorded overall 80% occupancy for morning shows and almost 100% from evening shows. From  its dominated regions Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Nizam, Vizag etc., it has done the business of 20.81 crores including 0.92 crore of North India. At worldwide box office it has minted total 30.14 crores.

The effect of positive reviews came out from audience on Friday has resulted in excellent for it on Saturday. On its second day, movie has started with almost similar response and minted approx. 13.25 crores* from AP, Telangana and nearby regions. As per the report of advance booking, almost all its shows in AP are already houseful for the entire weekend.

Today is its third day at box office and also the birthday of lead star Mahesh Babu, so the day is expected to be outstanding. Being weekend, Sunday always results in highest income for movies and also it is very special for fans of Mahesh, so the movie is expected to do highest business among first 3 days of release.
