Stree 8th Day Box Office Collection, Continues to Hold Well on 2nd Friday across India

Last Friday released horror comedy Stree has registered an excellent opening week and entered in the 2nd week on a steady note despite having several new offerings- The Nun, Laila Majnu, Paltan & Gali Guleiyan in the opposite along with the existing ones Yamla Pagla Deewana Phir Se, Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi, Gold & Satyameva Jayate.

Produced by Dinesh Vijan under the banner Maddock Films, Stree featuring Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkumar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi & Aparshakti Khurana. Despite being based on an unusual plot, it got succeed to hit the target right and received mostly positive reviews from the critics as well as the audience.

After a surprise opening, Amar Kaushik’s directorial remained strong throughout the first weekend and did the business of 32.27 crores with 6.83 crores on Friday, 10.87 crores on Saturday, and 14.57 crores on Sunday. After a week, its total collection was recorded at 60.39 crores from 1950 screens nationwide.

On a maintained note, now Stree entered in the second weekend and managed to collect the amount of 4.39 crores from 1770 screens. With this, the total collection of the movie after 8 days, has become 64.78 crores nett at the domestic box office.

As per the current, AA Films’ presentation is all set to surpass the lifetime total of John Abraham’s Parmanu (65.89 crores) by its 2nd Saturday and to rake approximately 78 crores by the end of this weekend domestically.
