Sui Dhaaga 8th Day Box Office Collection, Sharat Katariya’s Film Remains Decent on 2nd Friday

Last Friday released, director Sharat Katariya’s Sui Dhaaga has registered a solid opening week and still has a good hold over the audience across India. Despite several new releases this week at the box office, this comedy-drama managed to remain overall decent on its 2nd Friday.

Starring Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma in lead roles, Sui Dhaaga has got succeed to impress many in theaters and received mostly positive reviews from the critics as well as the audience. As a result, it gained a good word of mouth and has already become hit within a week.

Produced by Aditya Chopra & Maneesh Sharma under the banner Yash Raj Films, the movie took a decent start but registered an excellent opening weekend with a healthy growth and did the business of 36.60 crores that included 8.30 crores on Friday, 12.25 crores on Saturday and 16.05 crores on Sunday.

Then on weekdays, Sui Dhaaga remained strong and bagged the amount of 7 crores on Monday, 11.75 crores on Tuesday (Gandhi Jayanti), 3.80 crores on Wednesday, and 3.35 crores on Thursday. After a week, its total collection was recorded 62.50 crores from 2500 screens across India.

Now it has entered in the second weekend and has much-buzzed Andhadhun, LoveYatri & Venom in the opposite. Still, it managed to collect the amount of 1.75 crores after a drop of 47.76% than the previous day. After 8 days, the total collection of Sui Dhaaga has become 64.25 crores nett at the domestic box office.
