Salman Khan’s Sultan 20 Days Total Collection
In the third weekend, Salman Khan starrer Sultan has again showed impressive growth in its business and surpassed the lifetime total of Aamir Khan’s Dhoom 3 at domestic box office. Ali Abbas Zafar’s directorial this sports drama has now become the third highest grossing movie of all time in Bollywood after PK & Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Being year’s one of the most awaited movies, Sultan has been released with massive buzz and received overwhelmed response from audience across the globe.
In the opening week, the movie did the gigantic business of 229.16 crores with phenomenal occupancy through out. This included 180.36 crores of 5-days festive weekend and 48.80 crores of weekdays. In the second week, Sultan reported usual drop but still maintained a strong pace and did the business of 48.80 crores with 34.07 crores of weekend and 14.73 crores of weekdays.
Despite Rajinikanth’s Kabali, Sultan managed to register good business on Indian box office in the third weekend. It reported the total business of 11.09 crores in its third weekend and made its domestic total to 289.05 crores. From overseas market, the movie has minted the amount of total 151.92 crores in 19 days of release. At worldwide box office, it has grossed approximately 556.50 crores.
Now once again it has entered in weekdays and being normal working days getting lesser foot fall in theaters. On its third Monday, Sultan witnessed almost 40% of flat drop than last Friday and added the amount of 1.30 crore to its account. With this, its 20 days domestic total has become 290.35 crores.
