24 Days Total Collection of Salman Khan’s Sultan

India’s one of the most popular superstars, Salman Khan’s Eid release Sultan has completed its 3 weeks journey and registered massive business total so far. Despite new release, the movie still has enough hold over audience and heading break free on box office. Being very much awaited Salman starrer, Sultan has been released with enormous hype among fans as well as audience and as predicted received overwhelmed response worldwide.

In the opening week, it did the humongous business of 229.16 crores across India, including 180.36 crores of weekend and 48.80 crores of weekdays. In the second week, it witnessed considerable drop but maintained a good pace and raked the business of 48.80 crores with 34.07 crores of weekend and 14.73 crores of weekdays.

In the third week, Sultan had Rajinikanth’s much awaited Kabali in opposite but still it managed to add decent business total to its account. It minted the amount of 15.84 crores with 11.09 crores of weekend and 4.75 crores of weekdays. After 3 weeks, total collection of the movie was recorded as 293.80 crores.

From overseas market too, Ali Abbas Zafar’s directorial is getting impressive response and reported the total business of 154.10 crores ($23.09 million) till the end of third week. With this, Sultan has surpassed the lifetime overseas total of Shahrukh Khan’s My Name Is Khan, that was $23 million.

Now the movie has entered in its fourth week and due to new Hindi release Dishoom, it has witnessed quite lesser response than previous day. As per the report, Sultan minted the amount of only 0.57 crore on its 24th day and made its total as 294.37 crores on domestic box office. It has to maintain steady pace in this week to touch the mark of 300 crores.
