31 Days Total Collection of Sultan

Ali Abbas Zafar’s recent directorial venture Sultan has come very close to the mark of 300 crores and is positively expected to touch it by this week. Superstar Salman Khan starrer this sports drama has enjoyed phenomenal response from audience in early weeks. After that it witnessed considerable drop due to new releases and now it has slowed down.

Despite being slowed down, the movie is increasing its business total with every single day and heading break-free to the mark of 300 crores. So far it has shattered many records and currently on the third place among top highest grossing movies of all time in Bollywood.

In the opening week, Sultan reported exceptional occupancy and did the business of 229.16 crores including 180.36 crores of weekend and 48.80 crores of weekdays. In the second week, it witnessed fall in its occupancy but still maintained a good pace and raked the business of 48.80 crores including 34.07 crores of weekend and 14.73 crores of weekdays.

In the third week, it recorded little higher drop due to Rajinikanth’s much awaited Kabali but managed to add 15.84 crores in its account including 11.09 crores of weekend and 4.75 crores of weekdays. In the fourth week, it had new Hindi release Dishoom in opposite and collected 4.43 crores with 3.06 crores of weekend and 1.37 crore of weekdays.

After 4 weeks, total collection of Sultan was recorded as 298.23 crores on domestic box office and 162.10 crores from overseas market. Now the movie has entered in the fifth week and has no new strong movie in opposite. On its 5th Friday, Sultan reported slight lesser response than previous day and added the amount of 0.24 crore to its account. With this, its 31 days total has become 298.47 crores across India.
