3 Days Total Box Office Collection of ‘Talvar’

Irrfan Khan starrer latest thriller movie Talvar has released in theaters this Friday along with the superstar Akshay Kumar’s Singh Is Bliing. The movie is getting praised by all and has received super positive reviews from Bollywood critics. It was first premiered in 2015 Toronto International Film Festival, where it received huge appreciation. Talvar is based on the real double murder case of Noida that was occurred in year 2008.

Talvar is featuring very well known actor Irrfan as main lead along with Konkona Sen Sharma, Neeraj Kabi and Sohum Shah in pivotal roles. It is the directorial venture of Meghna Gulzar, daughter of legend Gulzar Saab. The movie is getting less occupancy because of having biggie Singh Is Bliing in competition. But still few audience preferred it and find worth watch.

On the opening day, Talvar has recorded the overall occupancy of 20-25% only and done the business of 2.50 crores. It was collected approximately 50 lacs from its paid premieres, so the first day collection of the movie has become 3 crores. On Saturday it received slightly less occupancy and minted the collection of 2.70 crores as its second day collection.

Today is its third day of release and started the day with decent occupancy of 25%. As per the early report, the Sunday collection of the movie is estimated to be around 3.30 crores. With these figures, total opening weekend collection of Talvar is calculated as 9 crores.
