Tamasha 6th Day Collection, Crosses 50 Cr in 6 Days as Domestic Total

Ranbir Kapoor’s Tamasha lands down now!

Imtiaz Ali’s directorial romantic drama movie Tamasha of Bollywood’s one of the hottest jodis Ranbir Kapoor & Deepika Padukone had showed commendable performance in the weekend. But now in weekdays, it has started facing heavy drops in its occupancy as well as business. The movie was released on 27th of November with good craze among audience. Because of Ranbir & Deepika, it has good pre-release buzz at box office. After the release, Tamasha hasn’t received much positive response from critics as well audience but still with the support of fans, it reached to the safe side.

Obviously the main reason behind Tamasha’s success is none other than Deepika Padukone, who is one of the most popular actresses in Bollywood now. Ranbir Kapoor has faced very hard time this year, as his last two movies were flop. Even after getting the cold reactions of audience, the latest one has come out with some positive hope for him. As per critics, both the lead stars have performed brilliantly in the movie but the story line is very complex and this is the reason behind low star ratings.

In the opening weekend, Tamasha was recorded the total business of 38.23 crores at domestic box office that includes 10.94 crores of Friday, 13.17 crores of Saturday & 14.12 crores of Sunday. In weekdays it is facing considerable of drops of more than 60% than weekend. On Monday it was minted the amount of 5.07 crores and then 4.07 crores on Tuesday. On Wednesday it has witnessed more drop and grossed 3.32 crores from Indian screens. Till the end of its 6th day, total collection of Tamasha is calculated as 50.69 crores.
