Tamasha 7th Day Collection, Completes One Week Journey with 53+ Cr Domestic Biz.

‘Tamasha’ Grosses approx. 53 Cr from Indian Screens

Last Friday released much awaited romantic drama Hindi film Tamasha has received mixed reviews from audience as well as audience but still managed to collect decent total in the opening week. With such performance, it has become the most successful film of actor Ranbir Kapoor in this year. His last two films were not accepted by audience and marked at flop. The latest one has come up as semi-hit so far and still adding average business figures to its account. As per critics, Tamasha has very complex story line which creates boredom at many sequences. But the brilliant performances of Ranbir & Deepika and ofcourse the support of their fans, dragged it to the safe side.

Now from this week, a new adult Hindi film Hate Story 3 is getting released and also has good hype among audience due to its high voltage adult sequences. The latest one is not much star powered as Tamasha but still audience showing good interested towards its release. So Hate Story 3 is positively expected to hamper the business of Tamasha, as now audience will have another good option to watch.

Tamasha was recorded the total business of 38.23 crores in the opening weekend from its Indian screens only, that comprises with 10.94 crores of Friday, 13.17 crores of Saturday & 14.12 crores of Sunday. In weekdays it has witnessed sudden drop of more than 60% than weekend. In last four days it has minted total amount of 15.23 crores that includes 5.07 crores of Monday, 4.07 crores of Tuesday, 3.32 crores of Wednesday & 2.77 crores of Thursday. Till the end of its 7th day, total domestic collection of Tamasha in one week is recorded as 53.46 crores.
