Tanu Weds Manu Returns 19th Day Collection : Heading towards 150 Cr in India

TWMR, which have been making continuous collections till now started its third week on a decent note. The movie collected good figures throughout the third weekend at the box office. It showed an expected drop of around 35% from its second Thursday which is a normal drop or even better when compared to other movies.

Till its third weekend, TWMR has made total collection of 129.03 crores from Indian screens only. Now the movie is running in its third week and on Monday it faced  usual drop; closed at around 2.30 crores. Yesterday being its 3rd Tuesday, TWMR has performed almost same as Monday and made income of approx. 2 crores.

It is looking at a satisfactory level to end good third week plus if it shows normal drop on weekdays then it can make more records. Now that movie has completed more than 2 weeks journey on screens, running still smoothly is really a big compliment.

TWMR for the first time has some competition at the box office in the form of new release this week Dil Dhadakne Do but seeing the response to these new movies it’s clear that in its third week end also TWMR will still rule at the box office as it was doing in the past two weekends.

Total collection of TWMR has already crossed 100+ crores within 2 weeks and the movie is looking at a lifetime total of around 150 crores which will be around 4-5 times higher than its own production budget. Additionally, the movie is giving competition to other movies even in its third week end, which is a very progressive and impressive fact.

As we have stated earlier that TWMR will cross over many records, this is going fairly true as the movie is still making handsome collection on box office. Already it has become the highest grosser of 2015 besting Baby and Gabbar is Back movie in first 2 weeks only. Now let see what the weekdays bring for this big entertainer in coming days.
