Tanu Weds Manu Returns 4th Day Collection: Monday Business Report

Bollywood latest romantic comedy movie Tanu Weds Manu Returns; released this Friday on around 2200 screens in India. The movie is performing very well at box office, in its first 3 days made a collection of 38.05 Cr from Indian screens only. Budget of this Kangana & R. Madhavan starrer was 30 Cr which the movie has already covered in its first weekend.

Tanu Weds Manu Returns is a refreshing treat for the audience, everyone liked it very much; which can easily be seen in the box office collections of the movie. From the very first day, TWMR is getting huge appreciation and positive response from audience as well as critics. Almost all the critics rated the movie with minimum 3.5 stars.

On the first collection of the movie was just good but due to word of mouth, it has made its weekend collection so high in India. In overseas market also the movie has done very good business in first weekend; collected 17 Cr from overseas screens. Kangana once again received appraisals for her superb acting after the movie Queen. Other starcast of the movie is appreciated by audience for their performance but Kangana is the star of eyes in the movie.

Made on the modest budget of 30 Cr the opening weekend has collected 40 odd Crores and with clear run next week as well, it will not be an understatement to say, that the film is racing for a 100 Cr at the Box Office. Kangana’s winning spree continues which is being pegged as performance of a life time.

At Cinépolis India + Fun Cinemas this is one of the best weekends for a Bollywood release in this calendar year with close 90% shows running houseful. Occupancy @80% has the box office wanting more shows over weekend.
