Thani Oruvan (Tamil) 1st Day Collection: Started on a Good note at Box Office

The latest Tamil action-thriller movie Thani Oruvan has released out today at box office with good hype among audience and fans. The movie is directed by M. Raja and produced by Kalpathi S. Aghoram, Kalpathi S. Ganesh & Kalpathi S. Suresh under the banner of AGS Entertainment and being distributed by Sun Pictures. It features Jayam Ravi, Arvind Swamy and Nayantara in the lead roles along with Sricharan, Mugdha Godse, Nassar etc in supporting characters.

Thani Oruvan was having good pre-release buzz among audience after the release of its official trailer. Everyone was expected it to get better at box office and as expected movie has started on a good note. It has received positive response from audience across the country especially in its dominated region Tamil Nadu. Critics are also looking in favor of the movie and reviewed it with minimum 3 stars. Along with south locations (Mahabalipuram, Bengaluru & Hyderabad), the movie was shot in north also such as- Rishikesh, Dehradun, Mussoorie etc.; so it is getting audience in north regions too.

On its first day, it recorded the overall occupancy of 70% in south and minted approx. 4.5 crores* from its Tamil Nadu screens. As previous releases it is also having holiday weekend, which will be an advantage for it. The presence of renowned lead stars attracts audience to watch the movie, also it is getting positive reviews. So it is definite that the movie will do more better in weekend.
