The Conjuring 2 10th Day Collection- Earns 47+ Cr till 2nd Weekend from India

‘The Conjuring 2’ Holds Well in 2nd Weekend Too!

Last week released, the second installment of very popular American horror franchise The Conjuring has reported impressive business in its opening week from India. The movie has been released on 900 screens across the country with much buzz among audience. It has received positive reviews from critics as well as moviegoers, which has diverted most of audience towards itself.

In the opening weekend, The Conjuring 2 witnessed amazing occupancy through out and minted the amount of 19.75 crores, that includes 5.25 crores of Friday, 6.90 crores of Saturday and 7.60 crores of Sunday including all four versions. In weekdays, as expected it kept maintained a good pace and did the business of 15.75 crores, that includes 4.50 crores of Monday, 4.15 crores of Tuesday, 3.70 crores of Wednesday and 3.40 crores of Thursday.

After a week, total collection of The Conjuring 2 was recorded as 35.50 crores. Now it has entered in the second week and despite new releases like Udta Punjab & Now You See Me 2, it holds pretty good in its second weekend. On Friday, it faced almost 25% of drop and minted the amount of 2.65 crores. On Saturday, being weekend it received decent growth in its business and raked the business of 4.20 crores.

On the last day of weekend i.e. Sunday, the movie reports higher than last 2 days. The movie is estimated to collect 4.75 crores on its 10th day. With this, total 10 days collection of The Conjuring 2 will become 47.10 crores on Indian box office. In few more days, it will be in the 50 crores club.
