‘The Jungle Book’ 7 Days Total Collection Report
Last Friday released much awaited Hollywood movie ‘The Jungle Book’ has set a new height for upcoming movies in India. It has received outstanding response from audience and raked impressive business through out. With such phenomenal performance, Disney’s this latest offering has dominated the opening record of previous much hyped Hollywood movie Batman Vs Superman: Dawn of Justice. Also it has become the second highest opening week grosser movie of the year in India so far after Airlift.
The Jungle Book also registered the record of second highest opening weekend grosser of the year so far after Airlift with the total business of 40.47 cr, that includes 10.09 cr of Friday, 13.51 cr of Saturday and 16.87 cr of Sunday. Due to wide scale promotions and association of Indian actors, made the movie to achieve such great height on Indian box office. Audience liked the movie and found it as interesting as they witnessed in their childhood.
In weekdays, asusual The Jungle Book faced considerable drops but still stands strong and raked excellent business. With steady performance, it has done the commendable business of 7.60 cr on Monday, 7.07 cr on Tuesday and 7.97 cr on Wednesday. On the last day of week i.e. Thursday, it received impressive rise and added 10.97 cr to its account. After a week, total collection of The Jungle Book is recorded as 74.08 cr on Indian screens.
