Theri 5th Day Collection: Passes Monday Test on a Decent Note in Tamil Nadu

Despite Mixed Reviews, Theri (Tamil) Gets Good at Box Office

Vijay starrer Tamil action movie ‘Theri’ has completed its opening weekend on a good note and heading forward with decent performance. This much awaited Atlee’s directorial movie has been released with huge pre-release hype among audience and as expected took excellent start on box office across Tamil state. In Tamil Nadu it released with a screen count of 425 and despite mixed reviews raked handsome weekend total. Theri is getting so much support of Vijay’s fans,they are creating huge buzz about the movie everywhere.

In its opening weekend, Theri has reported amazing and minted the total business of 38.60 cr across Tamil Nadu, that includes 13.10 cr of Thursday, 7 cr of Friday, 9.50 cr of Saturday and 9 cr of Sunday. Now only in its dominated state but in rest of India and overseas also, it is getting overwhelmed response from audience. In overseas, Theri has dominated the record of some Bollywood movies also.

Now the movie has entered in weekdays and being normal working days all movies get lower response while this period. Theri has also faced a considerable drop in its business on Monday but passed the test on a decent note. As per report, it has done the business of 4.75 cr* as its 5th day collection from Tamil Nadu. With this, its total collection from the state has become 43.35 cr*.
