Couple of weeks back released superstar Salman Khan starrer Tiger Zinda Hai has already emerged his second highest grossing movie of all time and third to enter in 300 crore club at domestic box office. After setting many new records so far, now it is aiming to surpass the lifetime total of his biggest blockbuster Bajrangi Bhaijaan (320.34 crores).
Being the sequel to 2012’s blockbuster Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai was released with huge buzz and as expected opened to a massive note. Due to positive response, it remained strong throughout the opening week and did the business of 206.04 crores that included 114.93 crores in weekend and 91.11 crores in weekdays from 4600 screens nationwide.
In the second week as well, Ali Abbas Zafar’s directorial maintained good pace and registered the business of 85.51 crores with 48.71 crores in weekend and 36.80 crores in weekdays from more than 3500 screens nationwide. After 2 weeks, total collection of the film was recorded 291.54 crores.
Then in the third week, Tiger Zinda Hai once again cashed the weekend thoroughly and become the fifth Hindi movie of all time to enter in 300 crore club after PK, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Sultan and Dangal. With around 27% of drop than previous day, it minted the amount of 3.72 crores on 3rd Friday.
Over 2nd Saturday and 2nd Sunday, the movie showed fair jump and raked the business of 5.62 crores and 8.27 crores respectively. With this, total 17 days collection of Tiger Zinda Hai has become 309.16 crores at domestic box office.
