Tiger Zinda Hai 2nd Day Collection, Salman Khan Starrer Remains Super Strong on Saturday

The immensely awaited sequel to 2012’s blockbuster Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai has been released at box office this Friday and as expected opened to an outstanding note. With it’s hard hitting action and wonderful performances by the actors, the movie has impressed everyone and getting positive remarks worldwide.

Superstar Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer Tiger Zinda Hai was buzzing among fans since it was announced. Due to solid star power and high recall value, this action thriller hit the screens with massive power and registered the record of year’s highest opening in Bollywood.

Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, Tiger Zinda Hai reported around 80% of occupancy across the country on Friday for morning shows. With steady performance till the end, it raked the opening business of 34.10 crores at domestic box office from 4600 screens nationwide.

With this, YRF’s production has dominated the opening record of Golmaal Again (30.14) crores and emerged as the biggest opener of 2017 in Bollywood. Also it has become the sixth highest opener of all time in Hindi cinema and the third best of Salman Khan‘s career so far.

On the next day i.e. Saturday due to weekend and positive word of mouth, Tiger Zinda Hai remained super strong and minted the amount of 35.30 crores. After 2 days, total collection of Salman-Katrina starrer has become 69.40 crores nett., which is higher than the lifetime total of Shahrukh Khan‘s Jab Harry Met Sejal (64.33 crores).
