Tiger Zinda Hai 42nd Day Box Office Collection, Rakes 338.20 Crores Total in 6 Weeks

Sequel to 2012’s blockbuster Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai has completed its 6 weeks journey at the box office on a fantastic note. Despite having highly buzzed Padmaavat in the opposite, superstar Salman Khan starrer showed steady performance in its 6th week and has come close to the lifetime total of Aamir Khan’s PK (340.80 crores).

Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, this action thriller Tiger Zinda Hai had passed last 5 weeks with no major competition and did the business of total 335.56 crores, that included 206.04 crores of the first week, 85.51 crores of second, 27.31 crores of third, 10.89 crores of third and 5.81 crores of the fifth week.

Then in the sixth week, it had Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat in the opposite but still managed to keep moving steadily. In the 6th weekend, the movie registered the business of 1.79 crore with 0.65 crore on 6th Friday (Republic Day), 0.48 crore on 6th Saturday and 0.66 crore on 6th Sunday.

In weekdays, as usual, Tiger Zinda Hai witnessed an abrupt drop in footfalls but still received a considerable response. On 6th Monday, it faced a drop of around 56% than Saturday and minted the amount of 0.21 crore.

By remaining almost steady, TZH added the amount of 0.21 crore on 6th Tuesday as well and 0.23 crore on 6th Wednesday. On the next day i.e. 6th Thursday, it collected 0.19 crore and raised its 6 weeks total collection to 338.19 crores at the domestic box office.
