Tiger Zinda Hai 5th Day Collection, Crosses 173 Crore Total in 5 Days at Indian Box Office

From the very first day of release, the immensely awaited action thriller Tiger Zinda Hai is setting new records at box office. Due to holiday weekend and solid word of mouth, the movie remained super strong throughout and become the fastest 150 crore grosser of all time in Bollywood.

With terrific performances given by the lead actors and hard hitting action, Tiger Zinda Hai has received positive reviews from most of the critics. Audience has also liked the movie and showing big thumbs up all over the country and overseas as well. As a result, it has gained good word of mouth and heading historically.

Being the sequel of 2012’s Ek The Tiger, Ali Abbas Zafar’s directorial was released with huge recall value and as expected opener to a phenomenal note. On the opening day, it recorded superb occupancy and did the business of 34.10 crores. With this, it emerged biggest opener of the year in Bollywood.

On Saturday due to weekend, Tiger Zinda Hai showed growth and raked the business of 35.30 crores. Then on Sunday, it took remarkable jump due to holiday and minted the humongous amount of 45.53 crores. After the opening weekend, total collection of Yash Raj Films’ presentation was recorded as 114.93 crores.

On Monday as well there was a holiday of Christmas, so Salman Khan & Katrina Kaif starrer successfully managed to maintain the pace and reported the business of 36.54 crores. On the next day i.e. Tuesday with 36.66% of drop than Friday, Tiger Zinda Hai garnered the business of 21.60 crores and raised it’s 5 days business total to 173.07 crores from 4600 Indian screens.
