Aamir Khan’s Dangal 38 Days Total Collection at China Box Office
After completing 5 weeks of glory in China, Nitesh Tiwari’s directorial sports biopic Dangal has now entered in the 6th weekend and still getting considerable response from audience. Once again the movie enjoyed the weekend thoroughly there and raised it’s worldwide gross total to over 1900 crores.
Dangal was released in China last month and showed outstanding performance so far. With it’s incredible run there, it has pushed India’s biggest blockbuster Baahubali 2 down to the second position among highest Indian grossers worldwide. Although Prabhas starrer is yet to release in China.
In last 5 weeks of release, Superstar Aamir Khan starrer remained unaffected throughout despite having several highly buzzed international offerings in opposite and did the business of $167.70 million i.e. 1084.32 crores gross, that included 164.59 crores of first week, 324.94 crores of second, 295.31 crores of third, 209.61 crores of fourth and 89.87 crores of fifth week.
Now the movie is running in the 6th week and cashed this weekend too on a good note. On 6th Friday in China, Dangal reported similar occupancy and did the business of 6.77 crores ($1.05 mn). Then with fair jump over the weekend, it raked 13.80 crores ($2.14 mn) on Saturday and 12.57 crores ($1.95 mn) on Sunday.
After 38 days of release, total gross collection of Dangal at China box office has been raised to 1117.46 crores ($172.84 mn). As per the report from distributors, the cumulative gross total of the movie has become $179.62 million i.e. 1158.13 crores.
