Tumhari Sulu 6th Day Collection, Suresh Triveni’s Film Crosses 18 Crores Total by Wednesday

Despite an average start, latest offering of very talented Vidya Balan, Tumhari Sulu recorded superb growth over the weekend and heading steadily in weekdays as well. Directed by Suresh Triveni, it was released with good buzz among fans but got a lower opening than expected due to clash with Justice League.

Revolves around an enthusiastic middle-class housewife Sulochana who takes up an exciting job as a late night radio jockey, Tumhari Sulu is being liked by all the viewers and gained good word of mouth. This is why, it is showing good hold over the multiplex audience even after the weekend.

On the opening day, this comedy drama started it’s journey on an average note and did the business of 2.87 crores from around 1000 screens across the country. Due to favorable response, it took good jump over the weekend and bagged the amount of 4.61 crores on Saturday and 5.39 crores on Sunday.

After the weekend, total collection of Tumhari Sulu was recorded as 12.87 crores at domestic box office. Now it is running in weekdays and asusual getting lesser footfalls in theaters than before. On Monday, Vidya Balan starrer faced around 36% of drop than Friday and minted 1.84 crore.

On the next day i.e. Tuesday with similar pace, the film collected the amount of 1.85 crore. While on Wednesday, it witnessed slight decline and raked the business of 1.67 crore. With this, Tumhari Sulu has raised it’s 6 days total collection to 18.23 crores.
