Tumhari Sulu and Justice League 13th Day Collection at Indian Box Office

Vidya Balan starrer Tumhari Sulu opened to a lower note than expected on last Friday due to clash with bigger one Justice League. Due to favorable remarks, it picked up very well over the weekend but still remained behind the opposite one at the end of it’s first week. Now in the second week it is getting slightly better response than that.

Directed by Suresh Triveni, Tumhari Sulu was released with good buzz among fans but unfortunately got an average start at box office. Because of interesting content and delightful performances this Hindi comedy drama impressed most of the audience and gained positive word of mouth.

As a result, it did the business of 19.78 crores in the opening week on an overall good note, that included 12.87 crores of weekend and 6.91 crores of weekdays. Then in the second weekend, it reported the business of 6.41 crores with 1.25 crore on Friday, 2.35 crores on Saturday and 2.81 crores on Sunday.

Now Tumhari Sulu is running in weekdays and asusual witnessing lower footfalls than before. With usual drop, the movie bagged the amount of 0.82 crore on 2nd Monday, 0.81 crore on 2nd Tuesday and 0.72 crore on 2nd Wednesday. With this, it’s 13 days total collection has become 28.54 crores at domestic box office.

On the other hand, despite mixed reviews Hollywood offering Justice League got good response across India and did the business of total 25 crores nett in first week, that included 18.25 crores of weekend and 6.75 crores of weekdays. Then in second weekend, it minted 6.50 crores with 1.60 crore of Friday, 2.35 crores of Saturday and 2.55 crores of Sunday.

In weekdays, due to normal working days it also got dropped abruptly and getting lower footfalls in theaters. On 2nd Monday, Justice League collected 0.85 crore, while 0.80 crore on 2nd Tuesday and 0.70 crore on 2nd Wednesday, With this, the movie has raised it’s 13 days India total to 33.85 crores.
