Tumhari Sulu & Justice League 10th Day Collection, Vidya Balan’s Film Earns Over 26 Crores by 2nd Weekend

Bollywood’s one of the finest actresses Vidya Balan starrer latest offering Tumhari Sulu was released last Friday with decent buzz. Due to clash with bigger one Justice League, it unfortunately took lower start than expected, but picked up very well over the weekend because of positive word of mouth.

Directed by Suresh Triveni, this comedy drama opened to an average note but received positive reviews from everyone. As a result it remained steady throughout the opening week and did the business of 19.78 crores, that included 12.87 crores of weekend and 6.91 crores of weekdays.

Now Tumhari Sulu is running in it’s second week and once again showed superb growth over the second weekend. On 2nd Friday, the film raked the business of 1.25 crore with around 19.4% of drop than previous day. Then on 2nd Saturday, it showed 88% of growth and minted 2.35 crores.

On the next day i.e. 2nd Sunday, Tumhari Sulu witnessed further growth in footfalls due to public holiday and collected the amount of 2.81 crores. With this total collection of the film after 10 days of release, has become 26.19 at domestic box office.

On the other hand, the adjacent English offering Justice League opened to a higher note due to good initial buzz and did the business of 25 crores in the opening week that included 18.25 crores of weekend and 6.75 crores of weekdays.

In the second week, Justice League now has been released in Hindi language also and minted the amount of 1.60 crore on 2nd Friday. On 2nd Saturday, it took good jump and minted 2.35 crores.

On the next day i.e. 2nd Sunday as well, Warner Bros-DC’s presentation has collected the amount of 2.55 crores and raised it’s 10 days total to 31.50 crores from Indian screens.
