Despite the newly released magnum opus Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi & much-anticipated Thackeray, a couple of weeks back released Uri The Surgical Strike has started its third weekend on a solid note and witnessed a healthy jump on 3rd Saturday due to Republic Day holiday.
Starring Vicky Kaushal, Yami Gautam, Paresh Rawal & Mohit Raina in lead roles, Uri The Surgical Strike has received huge appreciation from the everyone and running exceptionally at the box office since its release. As per reports, it has a better trend than last year’s top 3 blockbusters- Sanju, Padmaavat & Simmba.
After an excellent start, Aditya Dhar’s directorial showed super-strong performance throughout the opening week and registered the business of 70.94 crores which included 35.73 crores in the weekend and 35.21 crores on weekdays from 1200+ screens across the country.
Then in the second week as well, it maintained a tremendous pace and managed to collect the business of 62.54 crores with 38.22 crores in the weekend and 24.32 crores on weekdays. After 2 weeks, the total collection of Uri The Surgical Strike was recorded at 133.48 crores.
On 3rd Friday, RSVP Movies’ production faced a drop of only 15.39% than the previous day and did the business of 4.40 crores. On 3rd Saturday, it recorded healthy growth due to a public holiday and minted the amount of 9.86 crores. With this, the 16 days total collection of the film has become 147.74 crores nett.
