After the 5 blockbuster weeks, highly-appreciated Uri The Surgical Strike has passed its 6th week as well on a strong note despite having the newly released Gully Boy in the opposite. Showing an exceptional trend throughout, the film has created a history and also registered the record of the highest 6th week of all time in Hindi cinema.
Directed by Aditya Dhar, the war drama did the business of 6.95 crores in the 6th weekend which included 1.20 crore on Friday, 2.52 crores on Saturday & 3.23 crores on Sunday from 860 screens. Then on weekdays as well, it remained rock-steady and minted the amount of 1.32 crore on 6th Monday, 1.38 crore on 6th Tuesday & 1 crore on 6th Wednesday.
On the next day i.e. 6th Thursday, after a further drop, Uri The Surgical Strike has raked the business of 0.95 crore and raised its 6 weeks total collection to 230.57 crores nett at the domestic box office including the business of 218.97 crores from the last 5 weeks.
In parallel, the other existing film Manikarnika has passed its 4th week on a low but steady note. In the 4th weekend, it did the business of 1.60 crore with 0.35 crore on Friday, 0.55 crore on Saturday & 0.70 crore on Sunday. Then on weekdays, it managed to collect 0.25 crore on 4th Monday, 0.20 crore on 4th Tuesday & 0.20 crore on 4th Wednesday.
On 4th Thursday, after a further dip, Kangana Ranaut starrer bagged the amount of 0.15 crore and raised its 4 weeks total collection to 97.15 crores from Hindi, Tamil & Telugu screens across India including the business of 94.75 crores from last 3 weeks.
