‘Puli’ Sixth Day Collection

Vijay starrer latest Tamil action movie Puli was opened up at box office with huge expectations but everything has melted down after the negative response of audience as well as critics. The movie that was claimed to be equally entertaining as biggest blockbuster movie Baahubali, is facing regular drops in its business after the first day. It has made with heavy budget of 118 crores and integrated with high quality VFX but all these thing have failed to impress audience.

The movie is still getting support of fans and collecting decent figures across the country as well as overseas. But the truth is, Vijay’s fans are also very much disappointed with his latest action adventure. Due to its pre-release hype, it started with a bang on box office in its dominated regions but afterwards facing regular fall in the business graph. In weekend, somehow it managed to collect reputed amount but in weekdays it is recording quite less occupancy in theaters.

Tamil Nadu: Puli has reported the total weekend collection of 30.50 crores* from 400+ screens of the state that includes 10.75 crores of Thursday, 7.50 crores of Friday, 6.25 crores of Saturday & 6 crores* of Sunday. In weekdays, as expected it started facing heavy drop in its business and minted approx. 1.90 crore* on Monday & 1.50 crore* on Tuesday.

Kerala, Karnataka & Chennai: As per the reports, Puli has collected the amount of 3.87 crores from 200+ screens of Kerala. That includes 1.75 crore of Thursday, 0.85 crore of Friday, 0.60 crore of Saturday & 0.67 crores of Sunday. It raked to collect 2.84 crores from Chennai & 4.25 crores from Karnataka in weekend.

Andhra Pradesh & Telangana: With its Telugu dubbed version, Puli has minted the amount of 6.80 crores in weekend and in weekdays as expected facing heavy drops of more than 50%.
