Wazir 3rd Day Collection, Crosses 20 Cr in 1st Weekend on Indian Box Office

‘Wazir’ creates buzz around!

This newly released emotional drama Hindi film ‘Wazir’ by one of the ace filmmakers Vidhu Vinod Chopra, was started slow on Friday but attained good pace from next day. The film has come out with good number of screens in India as well as overseas and getting almost positive response from audience. From critics it has received mixed reviews but still Wazir is gaining positive words from viewers. It features the megastar Amitabh Bachchan and very multi talented Farhan Akhtar in lead roles. Their fans are showing good craze towards the movie and creating buzz about it on social media.

On the very first day, Wazir was recorded overall occupancy of only 30% across the country and raked the business of 5.57 crores from India. The positive response it received from fans and limited audience, has resulted in favor of the movie. On Saturday being partial holiday, it was witnessed approx. 30% of growth than previous day and made the amount of 7.16 crores. From overseas screens, Wazir was grossed total 7.36 crores that includes 4.07 crores of Day-1 and 3.29 crores of Day-2.

Then on its third day, being Sunday the movie has experienced decent occupancy as well as business on Indian screens and added the amount of 8.24 crores. Till the end of its first weekend, total collection of Wazir is recorded as 21.01 crores at domestic box office. Considering the weekend report of the movie, it is expected to face low response from weekdays.
