‘Welcome Back’ 2nd Day Collection: Crosses 30 Cr in 2 Days at Box Office

Anees Bazmee directorial latest action comedy movie Welcome Back has started with a good figure at box office. The movie has taken an excellent start on Friday, recorded overall occupancy of 65% in India. It was released on approx. 3200 screens in the country and getting wonderful response from audience from the very first day. Critics are not looking in favor of the movie because of its ineffective script, but audience find its very entertaining and hilarious.

Welcome Back is the sequel of 2007’s super movie Welcome and featuring Anil Kapoor, Nana Patekar & Paresh Rawal from its prequel along with John Abraham & Shruti Haasan in lead roles. Naseeruddin Shah, Shiney Ahuja, Dimple Kapadia & Ankita Srivastava are in supporting characters. Everyone who watched the movie is showing thumb up to the movie and appreciating the hilarious performance of Anil Kapoor aka Majnu Bhai & Nana Patekar aka Uday Shetty.

On its first day, Welcome Back was recorded the overall occupancy of 65% and minted the amount of 14.35 crores at domestic box office. The movie has registered the third highest opening of year 2015 in Bollywood. In overseas, the movie was done the business of approx. 8 crores on Thursday & Friday. On Saturday, being the weekend and also the holiday of Krishna Janmashtami & Teacher’s Day, as expected the movie showed handsome growth in its business. It has garnered the amount of around 17.05 crores (excluding shares) as its 2nd day collection. Now on Sunday also, Welcome Back is expected to collect good from Indian screens.
