‘X-Men: Apocalypse’ Minted 4.51 Cr on Friday across India
Bryan Singer’s directorial one of the much awaited superhero movies ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’ has been released in India this Friday, a week before than its US release. Due to initial buzz, it has taken good start on Indian box office and take the charge to dominate Indian movies after Superman Vs Batman: Dawn of Justice, The Jungle Book and Captain America: Civil War. The movie has received positive reviews from critics as well as moviegoers, which is resulting in good business at box office.
The is the ninth installment of franchise X-Men and successfully dominating adjacent Hindi release Sarbjit. On the opening day, it received amazing response from Indian audience and reported almost 50% of occupancy. It has minted the amount of 4.51 cr on Friday, which is good enough as compare to its screen count. The major contribution is made by multiplexes and single screen cinemas have also witnessed well.
On the next day i.e. Saturday being weekend and also due to positive word of mouth, the movie showed decent growth in its business and collected the amount of 5.65 cr as its second day collection. After 2 days, total collection of X-Men: Apocalypse is recorded as 10.16 cr across the country. Being public holiday, Sunday is expected to result in good growth and can rake the total business of over 16 cr in the opening weekend.
