‘X Men: Apocalypse’ Minted 16.21 Cr in the Opening Weekend
X Men: Apocalypse is the ninth installment of the franchise X-Men and was of the much awaited Hollywood movies of the year. It has been released this Friday in India with good excitement among fans and audience but unfortunately received mixed reviews from critics. Still it has completed the opening weekend journey on a good note.
Like previous Hollywood movies – Batman Vs Superman: Dawn of Justice, The Jungle Book and Captain America: Civil War, this one also dominated its adjacent Hindi release. It has received highest response than other releases through out the weekend on Indian box office.
On the opening day, it reported the overall occupancy of 50% across the country and minted the amount of 4.51 crores. Due to favorable audience response, it received slight growth on Saturday and collected the amount of 5.65 crores as its second day collection.
On the last day of weekend i.e. Sunday, being holiday it witnessed the highest response and raked the amount of 6.05 crores, to make opening weekend total of X Men: Apocalypse as 16.21 crores on Indian box office.
Now the movie has entered in weekdays and asusual started getting lesser response than weekend but still stand decent. On Monday, it faced more than 50% of drop and added the amount of 2.80 crores to its account. After 4 days of release, total collection of X Men: Apocalypse is recorded as 19.01 crores nationwide. It is expected to head steadily till this week.
