After getting super response from the 1st day of its release, Ram Charan’s ‘Yevadu’ got Blockbuster status. We know that Yevadu was released in less number of theaters than Mahesh Babu’s ’1′ Nenokkadine and the theatre count is around 720.

Even then, Yevadu is going to create first week records in many areas in AP, breaking the first week records of Atharintiki Daredi. Ram Charan’s “Yevadu” has taken a fantastic opening at the Andhra Pradesh box office. “Yevadu“, which released on 12 January, received positive feedback from Critics as well as the audience. The film took a grand opening on the first day of its release, with most shows filled with packed houses. Though “Yevadu” is termed as a typical revenge drama, the twists and the commercial elements in the film seem to have attracted the audience.

Pawan Kalyan’s “Attarintiki Daredi (Rs.10.75 Crores), and Jr. NTR’s “Baadshah” (Rs.9.25 Crores) and “Ramayya Vastavayya” (Rs.8.7 Crores) are the three films ahead of “Yevadu. “The action-packed entertainer has surpassed Mahesh Babu’s “1 Nenokkadine” first day collections. “1 Nenokkadine”, which opened to negative reviews, had raked in Rs.8.40 Crores share in AP. “Yevadu” has opened well on the second day (13 January) as well, with morning shows reporting housefuls in big centers. The film is expected to have a strong second day in Andhra Pradesh. As the Sankranti holidays have begun “Yevadu” is expected to post a good total at the end of its first week and is likely to be a big commercial hit in Ram Charan’s career. The film, directed by Vamshi Paidipally, has Ram Charan, Shruti Hassan and Amy Jackson in pivotal roles. Other cast members include Allu Arjun, Kajal Aggarwal (both cameo), Sai Kumar, Rahul Dev, Brahmanandam and Jayasudha.
