Zero & KGF Hindi 16th Day Box Office Collection, 3rd Saturday Business Report

After the release of Rohit Shetty’s Simmba, superstar Shahrukh Khan’s highly-awaited Zero got affected badly and now just crawling at the box office. Due to mixed reactions, the film faced a huge rejection from the audience and as a result, got crashed too early.

Directed by the very promising Aanand L Rai, Zero remained under-performed throughout the opening week and did the business of 90.07 crores which included 59.07 crores in the weekend and 31 crores on weekdays. In the second week, on a very low note, it managed to collect only 7.25 crores with 3.75 crores in the weekend and 3.50 crores on weekdays.

Now in the third weekend, it has become more difficult for Red Chillies Entertainment’s production to attract enough audience toward itself. On 3rd Friday, Zero minted the amount of 0.10 crore, while on 3rd Saturday, it raked 0.15 crore and raised 16 days total domestic collection to 97.57 crores.

On the other hand, Prashanth Neel’s directorial Kannada magnum opus KGF is running very well at the box office across India even with its dubbed Hindi version. By remaining strong throughout the first week, it did the business of 21.45 crores from 1500 screens. While in the second week, it collected 11.50 crores from 780 screens.

In the third weekend as well, Superstar Yash starrer is showing steady performance. After a usual drop, it did the business of 0.90 crore on 3rd Friday. Then on 3rd Saturday, KGF (Hindi) minted 1.35 crore and raised 16 days total collection to 35.20 crores.
