Richa Chadda Goes Bold in ‘Cabaret’

Cabaret is an upcoming romantic thriller dance film, directed by Kaustav Narayan Niyogi and backed by Pooja Bhatt under the banner Fisheye Network Private Limited in association with T-Series and Wave Cinemas. It features the very versatile actress Richa Chadda and Gulshan Devaiah in lead roles. Former India cricketer S. Sreesanth will also be seen in a crucial role.

As per report, Cabaret film is based on dance and which Richa has been extensively learning and practicing for a long time. However, speculation is rife that it is inspired by the life of yesteryear’s actress and cabaret queen Helen. In the film Richa’s character is of a dancer from small town who has dream to be a star. Months ago producer Pooja Bhatt said, Cabaret will give Richa Chadda a new image as an actress. “Those who have dismissed her as un-glamorous will eat their words,” she added.

Recently the first official poster and teaser of the film have released that features the leading actress in a bold avatar. Definitely this proves the statement of Pooja Bhatt totally correct. Now everyone is looking for its official trailer and music. Cabaret has 8 tracks, composed by the director Kaustav Narayan Niyogi himself. Source says, Roop Kumar Rathod, K.K. & Bhoomi Trivedi have given their voices in the songs. Cabaret is made with the small budget of approximately 50 lacs and scheduled to be released on 5th of June this year.
