According to the trailer and it’s wikipedia, the film is dark & as grotesque as the bright comedy in it. It’s a very vitriolic and an angry take on today’s political scenario. The central idea revolves around a 200-buck prostitute, on the run and penniless. She lands up in a town where a by-election is just hotting up. There, she gets caught in the vortex of political shenaniganism of the by-election and guess what? She ends up becoming the Chief Minister! Not that she deserves to be – but then, are the ones in the office any better?

Very recently we witnessed Bhavri Devi (Mallika Sherawat) in Dirty Politics and here we see Kasturi (Meenakshi Dixit).

The Maharashtra laavni girl played by Meenakshi Dixit doesn’t show any promise as an Actor! Such film required actors like Kangna Ranaut or anyone on those scales. Meenakshi fails to provide any expressions. Bharat Jadhav and rest actors are good!

The Trailer also shows the track where Bharat Jadhav is dead and his body is scientifically used (Or Misused) for purpose! Similarly like Kundan Shah’s earlier cult classic Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron! If the ‘Dead Body’ idea is purposely recreated, we have seen the original umpteen number of times on Television.

Bharat Jadhav and his character straight away reminds you about Long Old Kamal Haasan’s comedy Indrudu Chandrudu a.k.a Mayor Saab (Dubbed).

I personally feel there is not much to look forward in this film.Ratings: * *
